Got to the river around 7am and almost was wondering if there was an early closure or something because I couldn't see anyone down there... must be getting too cold for some guys because usually the banks are pretty full even on a weekday. Anyway, got down to the bank and there were a few guys downstream of me. Had to be home by 9, so I had to focus, and get something going. Started drifting my dick nite and began to get worried I might get skunked after a few casts. Get a fish on for a second and then it comes unhooked. Then I catch and release 3 decent pinks one after another. See the guy downstream of me land a nice silver and start to think im going home fishless. Cast out again and get a hit on the retrieve again. The fish starts rolling all over the surface of the water, so I think it might be a foul hook humpy, but its not. Couple runs later, I slide the first silver of the morning on the bank. Hook nose buck, weighing 7lbs. On the stringer, catch card filled out, I start drifting the same run again. Few casts later I get bit again on the retrieve and this fish stays deep not showing itself. Short fight later, 2nd silver on the bank and Im limited by 8am. The last fish was smaller, weighing only 4lbs but was nice and bright. Good luck out there.

You're lighting it up on the Stilly! Nice fish on back-to-back outings (saw your post from yesterday). Where on the Stilly are you fishing? Have you been using just a Dick Nite & drifting along the bottom? Have you been using different color or size DN's?

Keep up the good work, man.

Ya, this last rain brought more fish in for sure. I've been fishing Haller park area drifting mostly 50/50 dick nites.
