tried to get there after the morning crowd, got there at about 11:00am with my boss. He was told by John (johns sporting goods) that chartreuse jigs work for coho, we drifted them just moving them enough to keep them from settling on bottom. I found the fish actually spooked if we twitched them, I'm so glad we tried it. My first EVER limit of coho!! I usually float roe. The jig was chartreuse/red 1/8th Oz, pretty small. I don't like to fish near the crowd so I hike to find good holes.I got 3 biggest at 31" 2 bucks and a pretty bright hen., boss got 2. I lost 4 others, 1 snapped me off. An amazing day. I had a blast.
