went out Sunday morning to the Wallace and fished under the train bridge and hwy 2 bridge and got skunked fished only from about 7:00am till 9:00am when we got the call from my buddies wife that he had forgot to leave the house unlocked. So we had to cut the trip short and drive back to Everett. But I floated pink salmon roe cured in salt and dried the day before under a 1/2 ounce float with about a 3 ft leader and had no luck at all. There were about 5 or 6 of us there fishing and no one else was having any luck. Most of the guys seemed to be using roe cured in different fashions and none seemed to be working. I know that these fish can get a little leader shy and have lock jaw but I was really hoping that I was going to catch at least one silver. A gentlemen told me about the spot and what to use, but no luck. If anyone has any tips or good fishing holes please PM me. Cant seem to get a silver, I have never cough a silver and I would love to get one on the grill before there all gone. fish on and tight lines!
