Was the first at the hatchery to arrive and thougth to myself it doesn't look good. Went down to the mouth of Stevens creek and guys across the river already fishing. Seen 1 fish jump and about 15 guys trying to catch it, stayed for about 30 minutes and headed to the Bluff. Upon arrival to the bluff seen someone had a fish on but lost it. While at the bluff fish were rolling and a couple of of huge Chums landed and also a Fairly light bronzed King all landed with eggs. I didnt have any luck there so decided to head down river. Seen a couple of guys cross the the river so I crossed shortly afterwards. As I was walking down river I casted into every possible area that a fish could hide. There was a area where it looks like a stump comming out of the ground and behind it was the biggest Coho I have ever caught.. Since this was my first and only bite of the day I played him out till he rolled on his side. Luckyly there was alot of real estate and I could see that I had a solid hookset in the mouth. Although its alittle colored the meat was still bright orange and it made the 2 hr. And 15 min drive worth it.

Looks like a Fenwick HMX rod? I have one as my king rod as well. Love it.

Nice job. Sorry it was slow out there, at least you brought home something.
