After having no luck on the Skagit the past two weeks I decided to stay close to home for a change. Couple of my fishing buddies were saying the coho were pretty thick in the nooksack so we hit up the river around lynden this evening and it what a great evening it was! I had no luck last year at all fishing silvers anywhere (most likely due to lack of experience), but today it finally came together. I got my limit in about 20 minutes. First one (the smaller hen) came on a brads wiggler and the second came on an all black jig with a little bit of chartreuse thread holding the feathers on. Will be going back tomorrow evening for hopefully another limit!
