Let me start off by saying that It was a very slow day on the river. Met up with some folks from meetup.com at 8:45am hit the snohomish out of rotary park for some trolling and jigging. Fished all the way up to the bar because the boat we were in wasnt able to go that far up river. So we hung around there and fished by the mouth of the pilchuck, and had no luck.trolled back down river and had no hits, went to ship wreck right before rotary park were some trout were holding, and got no luck there. droped off one of our members and trolled back up river, and still no hook ups. So at about 4:00 we called it a day. Nobody was getting any fish that day, a few trollers did but that was about it. I had a great time with the meetup crew, but I would have really liked it if I had cought something!! I really need to catch a silver before the season is over and before i go crazy!! It would be my first and are the coho still running and is it slow because of the lack of rain? I want to head back out there early saturday or sunday morning on the incoming tide for some bank fishing. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? I would really like to get a silver. thanks guys and fish on!

Thanks for the report. I was thinking about trying the lower Snoho with my boat but your report convinced me not to. The salt was fantastic this year. But the fishchecker report for Everett last Sunday showed 136 guys and only 13 Silvers. There may be a few still coming but the run is at the end. The Silver run is mostly a September and early Oct deal. We started getting ocean run Silvers on August 21st this year.
