Starting Time: 7:00 AM
Location: Skykomish
Method of Persuasion: Yarnball & Sand Shrimp
Setup: Okuma Celilo 9'6" 4-8lb Rod, Shimano Sahara 2500 Reel, 10 lb Power Pro.

Low and clear much?

I found these two sitting in a nice deep riffle; have been consistently landing Steelhead missing their "right" pectoral fin. First released (excellent fight), second retained (decent fight: lunch).

Questions regarding methods to consistently hook Skykomish River Steelhead? Interested in preparing for Winter Steelheading Season? I am more than happy to inspire, educate and hook you onto this magnificent sport we call "Angling."

Hi, My name is jesse, and as a young angler, (As im only 17) love to fish. had my first salmon season as i just moved up here from Kansas, and did, (OK) cought plenty of pinks but only 4 silvers, not that the season is winding down on silvers. im looking for a challenge and i hear steelhead are the ones to look for, i just don't know what to look for as far a gear, what to use, and weather to fish the snohomish or the sky. Anytips you are willing to share would be greatly appreshiated, but i understand if you dont they are called secrets for a reason, i check the forms everyday and if you want to PM me or just comment back. Thanks your your knowlege, and those are some beautiful fish!

I'm a new retired fishing nut looking for as much imfo on steelheading as possible.
I'm starting to learn the art of floatfishing which makes a lot of sense to me.
Unlike the young angler from Kansas I'm 67 V.N vet that grew up with a fishing line in my hands and never let go.
Call me fishguy.
