Fished the morning outgoing tide today, on the lower river. I found some eggs in the back of my freezer over the weekend, that had been cured in a cure that I've been having a lot of success on. Didn't see much of anything jumping, but that has been the norm for the past few weeks. Made a few drifts, before I was quickly hooked into a fish. Put up quite an aerial display, before I got it close enough to net. Turned out to be a nice bright hen. Not too long after, I hooked into a real fighter. After a few minutes, I got it close enough to see that it was a chum. Unhooked it, and started fishing again.
Got another bite, and again, it was another chum. Hooked 4 more, before I was back into the silvers. Landed another nice hen, that was dropping scales. About half an hour later, I hooked a third silver. It was small than the others, but was full of fight. Thank god for barbed hooks, as it made multiple runs right at me. Wasn't too bad of a fish, so I bonked it to finish off my limit.
