No Chum were harmed in the making of this report, but a Coho paid with his life. Hit the Green for a couple hours this afternoon with Hepker trying to help him break the ol' skunkaroo. We came close today. He had a salmonoid on the end of his line. I saw it go airborne twice with his yarn and corky in it's mouth then come unbuttoned. I caught and released two Chum. The first one was a 10 lbs chrome buck. The second one was a 6 lbs hen. Finally, I caught an 8 lbs Coho buck. He had a little color to him but was in good shape. This late in the season beggers can't be choosers so he got the ol' bonkaroo! Sorry no pictures today. Looking forward to going out again as soon as I can. Tight lines...

i'm not a fisherman any more. i'm a skunk farmer!! and for the record, no hook set cause i was reeling in my gear, the fish took it while swimming upstream. i never had any indication he was on my line until he jumped and even then it was because i saw the yarn, not because there was a tug on the line. after i realized that, my hook set attempt ended up with my hook on the bank. when is the next fair so i can go to the kiddie fish pool and get a 100% guaranteed hookup!! thanks for a fun afternoon despite it all maniac!
