Well my mom dropped me off at 9am at this hole that id like to keep secret even tho i know its not much of a secret, and i was fishin there for about 45 min and i had switched jigs a couple times tryin to get my first steelhead, well after a while i cast out by this fallen tree and as its floating past i watch my bobber slowly go under, so i set the hook hard and feel something fighting back and im really hoping its a steelhead, but it isnt fighting as hard as i would think a steelhead does, so i get it closer and it turns out to be a coho. Old nasty one! But i thought why not and got it on gopro anyways to test out my new gopro, then after that didnt get anything in that hole and walked all the way about 5 miles to the hatchery and eventually made it to the sherman hole where i ran into Natetreat, fished with him for a while he said he had gotten a steelhead and some coho, great guy he gave me some pointers then he headed off to reiter. Fished there till 5 then my mom picked me up at the hatchery. Good day i learned some things but im still on the quest for my first steel!
