Started at reiter around 9 with no luck. I tried beads to all different color jigs. Saw some down the way get one steelhead but it must have been a wild since they didnt take out of the water. Later someone on the highway side got a nice hatchery chromer. After a few hours we left and decided to got to the wallace river. As we arrived a few people walked out and they said it was very slow today.So we arrived at the hole and about 15 minutes fishing I was talking and not looking at my float and my arm got wrenched and then I set the hook. Fish on, a nice steelhead and it splashed and rolled and then spit the hook!!!! NO!!!!! Well I guess I got to keep on trying. Pretty cool Got to hook one which makes it my second hooked but none landed yet. My quest is still on. So after the fish, we had no more luck so we called it a day. Awesome day to be out on the water. Tight Lines!
