520 was closed so everyone was piled up on I90, But I finally got there around 2:30. It was the first time I fished in the actual creek, and even though the fishing was slow it was pretty fun. It reminds me of the creek where I first learned to fish for little rainbows and suckers, pretty much the same technique too. I worked up and down both sides of the creek until 5:00 when it closes. The water is low and clear, but there are still some pockets behind logs and boulders that look steely. I drifted eggs under a bobber, but couldn't find any fish, except for one bump that felt fishy. When I drifted back through I couldn't get another bite. There were a few other guys fishing the creek, but no action. Thanks to the guys helping me out in the forum on a proper set up, I only lost one leader to a snag. I'm hoping for a solid rain In the next week to push up some fish before it closes on the 15th.
