I didn't see anything else caught while I was there but the fish God smiled on me. It was the last day of the season here. I started the Morning at 6:15 with glow gear to no avail. I saw two rise in the middle chases them with a spoon but couldn't draw them out. I went to a jig floating it about two feet of the bottom. Visibility was about 3 feet and smoky green.
I started My drift outside about 60 feet out, working my way in about 5 feet at a time. I got My first one when I hit the 25 foot plane at about 7:15. not a lot of fight the water was perty cold. I marked it off and popped my second one 2 casts later. I considered releasing the second one because it was so small but not seeing anything else caught by the other fisherman on the bank. I decided it was better to finish off the season with a limit.
I hung out with a few friends for about an hour still seeing nothing even hooked or hearing any anglers swearing called it a day.

Way to finish off the season! I was tempted to give it one more try since the water must have been perfect but couldn't. That high tide push you were talking about a couple days earlier must have brought in a few fish. -- centerpinning buddy, David
