Catfish action is picking up on the Palouse. Although not "hot" by any means decent numbers are starting to be caught. Fishing overnight produced about a dozen nice cats in the 4 - 10 lb range. Try using night crawlers or cut bait just off the bottom. Water temps should be warming up quickly.

The KOA @ Lyons Ferry marina sits on the banks of the mighty Snake River. Awesome fishing and the scenery cant be beat!

Thanks for sharing, and the KOA tip. That sounds like a weekend destination road trip.

Lyons Ferry KOA is a great fishing getaway! Clean restrooms, good food in the restaurant, well stocked store, gas, propane, docking facilities, basic fishing supplies, and to top it off every fish species you could want. We have caught bass, walleye, salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon all in one trip. This is truly an anglers paradise!
