and I read some article and found these area are good, but not quite sure that's true..

Me and my 7yrs son look forward to first trip to Yakima for bank fishing.. So I need your advise about when and where would be good since this would be long distance trip....

5/5/2014 3:53:00 PMHP: The Woodhouse ponds to the NE of your marker can be pretty productive, but the fish run small. Check your regs for river fishing this area of the river, which can yield trout and squawfish... er... pikeminnow... The lower river is less regulated and has more species. 7 years, I'd tend toward pond fishing, or somewhere you can use bait, unless he's really good at cast/retrieve for his age.
