got out to the sky at about 6:30am with tele_maniac and his brother. beautiful morning. a little bit of high clouds so it wasnt too hot. stopped at the hole by mccoy creek for a couple hours. we caught one undersize cut and only had a couple other bites. moved on up to the west side of the the river across from the mouth of the wallace and fished there a few hours. nothing much except a couple jumpers just before we left early afternoon. headed to the prison hole via backroads since Hwy 2 was closed due to an accident. another undersize trout and a few bullheads to tease with bait. no fish for the three of us but it was good to get out and explore a couple new holes for some of us.

we threw sand shrimp, roe, dick nites, yarn & corky and a couple spoons at em. floated. drifted and plunked. not much more we could have done except throw some dynamite!
