8/18/2014 12:43:00 PMNice fish man! I fish the sky system a lot. I finally hooked into my first summer run steel last weekend but it popped off at my feet. I was up near where your at, hooked it on a bobber and jig. I've been trying to spinners but have had no luck and I really like tossin them. What size do you use and do you use weight or just to the main line and let them drift

8/18/2014 7:19:00 PMThanks man I had that happen to me a couple times this season where they do a quick head shake at your feet. I use a size 3 blue fox and cast upriver near the boulders give it a quick twitch to get the blade spinning and then just reel it in slowly. They hammer it the takedowns are awesome I like using spoons as we'll because of the bites.
