I had never fished the Bumping river before, and my boy wanted to go someplace in a Forest so he might see some animals, so away we went. This is a pretty area and river access isn't too bad. There aren't a lot of fish though and they don't hook easily and they are all under 5 inches. In fact I only landed one fish today- a huge whitefish I happened to hook up with in a deep run. She was around 17 inches and about 4 pounds!
If I come back to this river I will probably try further up to see if there are more fish there, but I think this river is pretty much fished out.
