I have fished sage lake for about 3 years now. It was my secret little lake until people got on here and started saying how great the lakes were. I have a question why would you tell how a great a lake is when it is that small? Another question why would you want more people out to the potholes? It was a nice place to go , but now not that great. There are too many people going back to the potholes that treat it like c***. I have been going to potholes for 10 years and my father and uncle for more then 30 years. I am sure there were more then just my crew going to sage but I didn't want people to know about it because we catch and release but nothing we can do about it now. Well anyways I went fishing there on memorial day weekend, not even a bite for a total of about 23 hours in 3 days. I think the lake has just been over fished. I do think its cool that people share their stories of lakes but not when it comes to ruining a great place to fish. You see stuff wrong with the lake already and still tell how great of fishing it is, sorry but I just don't get it. Just gonna have to find another lake.
