I just found this post and it's pretty cool. I live on the lake and this is the first year I have been seeing so many people coming to fish the lake. I used to have it all to myself.Today was a cloudy day and the water was still very warm from the past few hot days. The bass were very active today and me and my buddy caught an released 15+. The highlight of the day by far was a 22 inch bass I caught up next to some reeds and a dock. We got him measured but had a scale malfunction. I'm guessing he was about 8-9 pounds...huge! I'll try to post a pic when I get them back. There was definitely some hot spots today. I love catching bass on this lake. Another good lake that's close by is Moss lake. (Road is right by the public access) You have to carry a boat or float tube in but I've caught a few nice bass out of there. Good Luck Fishing.
