I went down to the puyallup river/carbon river seam after i tried the nisqually with no luck,I fished until around 8:30 pm.I saw a lot of fish surface and a couple guys catch some nice chromers.I figured out use a light weight 1 ounce or less or you will get snagged. But it is a very cool spot, you can fish 2 rivers at the same time!
