With the recent rain, I thought I'd check and see if there were any fish near Startup this morning. I fished off of Reese road from 7:00 to 9:00 am. A lot of small trout jumping, and at most 3 legitimate silver rolls. I floated eggs, jigs, threw spinners, spoons etc... no takers. Regardless, it was a great morning before work...always love fishing the sky, and I was thrilled to at least see some fish starting to make their way up stream. Heading back out Sunday and multiple mornings next week. Happy that we are getting some cooler weather and rain to hopefully kick start the Silver season on the Skykomish.
