So I have been hitting the river on and off the past few weeks and with the recent rain I have checked the river on a daily basis at Thomas Eddy and it has been very slow. This Friday and Sunday I finally saw my first sign of fish moving thru the river. At about 30 minutes or so after sunrise there has been a mini run of fish that seems to come in but they are gone as fast as the show up. The few fish that are about are sitting in the flat area below Thomas Eddy but goodluck getting any of them to hit anything. I personally haven't seen a single fish landed in the past 2 weeks. This Sunday it was very busy lot of people and boats but no fish.
On a sidenote last week I found a pair of keys on a lanyard that was intentionally tied to a stick out in the middle of the river. I had been ignoring it because I thought it was a lure and some line dangling from the stick and I was to lazy to go check it out. I finally decided to check it out and sure enough it was a pair of keys. The stick itself had been in the river awhile and with the way the keys were attached there is no chance they just drifted down river and got caught on the stick. PM me if you are missing some keys and can describe them.

I've been told last year was better than normal. On normal years the Silvers have lockjaw a lot. I've seen very few signs of Silvers in the Snoho, I'm not worried cause I caught my first one Oct. 2nd. I saw a few caught earlier down by Rotary. It started slow last year too.

I slammed them 10-1/10-2 last year after a big rain. not many fishermen were out because the river was blown.
