I finally caught one this morning, it was pretty dark though. Mr fire truck was about 4 or 5 lbs. He took a purple jig. Purple/white is my second hottest color, but I added more legs and tried some green. There was still a fair amount of fish rolling.

Nice jig by the way. I make my own too but never thought of putting rubber legs on them. Were you twitching the jig or floating it under a float? Which section of the river were you at?

I was fishing the upper section by 115th st. I was twitching them. In the search, you can look up posts from last year. I posted a video in December. They are not effective in the dirty water. Until it cools down more (ambient temperature), you just don't catch fish.

Looks like a barb on that hook. Isn't the Puyallup barbless until December?

You are correct on the barb and the restriction, I don't think they need to be barbless when I tie them though.
