I regretfully have to inform you that your timing is horrible.
It seems the tribal nets have been in the river since Monday morning and yes they put a hurt on the fishes.
The nets came out last night and they are brutal. Using Jet boats to coral large schools off rapids and forcing them in.
I too hoped the rain would let some through. Next time try the Bogi or check the netting schedule...

We had a great weekend with hundreds of fish coming through the system. Seems most of the early run where headed east on the bogi or clawhah.
