Absolutely killed it again. Both my and my buddy limited out within a few hours of showing up. Plenty of fish sitting out there, there was action pretty much the entire time we were out there.
Saw a few guys flippin floats again further upriver getting nothing. These fish aint feedin on eggs one bit. There was one guy using a purple jig that was having some amazing luck though and a group of friends flippin what looked like to be just corkies that we're doing pretty good themselves. There was even one kid who looked to be still in his teens casting out a big ol spoon. Didn't get anything the entire time we were there but at the last minute bam! He had a huge lunker on his line. Overall a great day fishing.
Few more trips like this and the freezer's going to be full for the season!
