Barr Creek between Rockport and Marblemount.
Waited weeks for the river to drop to walk the Barr Creek gravel bar. Water was crystal clear. The Chum were there thick, with about a dozen guys doing flyrod C&R for them. No Coho or Steelhead, just lots of rolling Chum. I was happy to see this because the netting wiped out the Chum run the last few years.
Fished sunup to sundown. Saw many foul hooked fish, not a single one fair biting. Odd thing, they were all bucks. Caught and released a couple Dollies. A beautiful day!
