Got on the river around 8am and fished it till about 4pm in the Schafer SP area with no luck. There were a few other guys out and no one else was catching any fish either. Didn't even see a fish. A couple gear guys did say they caught 3 when asked if they had any luck. Ran into a WDFW officer and he said it's been real slow fishing. I had the spey setup out and was swinging purples and pinks and chartreuse colored leeches, popsicles, etc all day long without even a bite. Flows are great though and the water is very clear.
