Took the rookie fishing at my favorite lake from 2pm-5pm. It was a nice overcast day with fairly calm water. We ended up catching our limits of rainbows and kokanee 30-40 pulls out. We were using the standard ford fender and wedding ring combo. The fish were hitting fairly hard and then getting off the line. Should have added a snubber as the kokanee were getting off the line after a few reels.
