Got up early this morning before work and hit the river up around Flora. I haven't been down there for a few weeks since the "hoot owl" restrictions kicked in. In slightly over an hour of fishing I caught 17 smallies and lost a few more to jumping fish shaking the hook. No size to any of them at all but a good time all the same. I brought two poles, one with a fly/bobber setup and another with a swivel I changed between a two small countdown Rapalas and a small Pop-R. The fly/bobber combo outfished the other 15-2! I only wish there was a bit more size to them, my second outing to this spot I caught one that was at least 3 times larger than the best one caught today.
