Got to the launch at first light. My first time dropping on the snohomish. Picked up a nice 14' alumacraft with and had a 25hp jet installed on it. I mostly fish the skykomish this time of year. I was by myself today and got the boat in just fine, motored around for a while searching for some schools familiarizing myself with the river. Nice and deep. I made sure I wasn't launching at low time btw. Found a few fish early but it was actually pretty slow. Caught 4 fish and lost a few. Searched river a little more and found a really nice school. Action was almost constant for a while. Caught probably around 15 fish total and I kept 2 hens that were nice and bright. Twichted jig all morning. Glad to have my scouting outing done for the wife and kids to join.
