Saturday AM: Put in the kayak at Cady Park by 7:30am. The place was getting busy but not crazy. Yet. Paddled just up river of the bridge and within 5 mins caught a nice hen on a squid jig. More boats kept showing up with the majority of them fishing between the lower two bridges. By 10, the river was beginning to look like I-5 during rush hour. And maybe even more fish rolling and jumping. Everywhere. Yet I didn’t see that many being caught. Saw a few fish being taken but not as much as one would expect with as many fish and boaters present. As I pulled out by 10:20am, Cady Park was getting crazy.

Sunday 5:30 PM: Moved up the river past Craven Farms and fished from the bank. Didn't see as many fish and didnt see anyone catching anything either. Casted spoons, dick nite jig and my trusty knock off squid and got nothing.
