Started out launching at Mt. Vernon Park Launch and headed to the forks. Fishing started out slow and I had one hook up, but lost it. We Plunked spoons for about an hour and nothing not even a bite. We decided to move up river and went up just up river from the major plunking area in town and it was game on from there.

We started drift fishing while anchored up with dicknite spoons, one bright green with pink tip and one white with pink tip. First cast we landed a small hen and lost another right after that. About 10 minutes later the other rig hit and landed number two. In about an hour we each had two and were getting hits nonstop with many missed hookups. It was an absolute blast and short lived after we lost daylight.

Rated a 5 because it was an absolute blast to get the neighbor kid on some fish. We both we super stoked having a awesome time on the river. To bad there isn't more hours in a day.
