I fished below the hiway 9 bridge from the bank. I started with Marabou jig 3/8 oz for casting distance. I felt few bites but no hook up. My fishing Buddy showed up and hooked into one on his first cast with a wee pink and white dicknite so I switched over to the dicknite. Within very short order I was hooking into the pinks with a slow retrieve started right away after the lure hit the water. There is a lot fish moving upstream right now with the rain. The tidal water ate up the beach quickly and we ended up landing the last few in the bushes. I hooked and landed 13, kept my four hens for eggs. It was a blast! I will be out there tonight after work. Tight lines!
