Been fishing the sound with great success but decided to hit up the river from 1 to 4pm not a lot of people at the haller park area but I went down river a little bit and was using my steelhead setup pink and purple 1/8 ounce jig under a float about 4 ft I caught probably 30 fish by the time I left and constantly caught fish the whole time never went more then 5 min without a fish and even caught some nice chrome fish with sealice on them the key was to cast literally across the whole river and have it within 5 ft of the other bank even though I did catch fish in the middle I just did better across the river all fish were released unharmed will be back tomorrow morning and see what the morning is like
