Went out early Sunday morning before the hawks game launched the boat and ran up river to our spot anchored up and dropped the gear at daylight fishing was slow to start but then got a double on get them in bolt cookie cutter pinks so we decided to switch to the silver gear we fished for about an hour then bang fish on my buddy finally got the fish up to the boat after a good fight and areal display nice 8 lb silver hen about 10 to 20 minutes latter I got one on fought it for a bit but finally got it to the boat and netted weighed out at 9.5 lbs so at that point we had to pack it up and head for home to catch the Seahawks game but a good start to the silver season we had heard that they are in the river but not extremely heavy yet we have been killing the pinks for a few weeks now and have our fair share of them all smoked up but was nice to get into a couple of silvers. Will be back out this coming weekend to try our luck again .
