Fished the morning hours. Tide was a little high and water going out fast. I quickly lost two drift rigs with nothing to show for. Switched to chartreuse vibrax spinner with no love either. One cast went too far and landed right in the blackberry jungle on the opposite bank. Miraculously it came lose after two hard pulls. Decided to switch back to drifting eggs. Good thing I did because 15 minutes later I hooked a nice hen you see here. Had prior engagement so had to pack out after 10 more minutes of fruitless drift. Asked the guy to my right whether he is a member of WL but he said no. However, he had heard of me. I suspect he is a member but just coy about it. All good.

One thing I do want to share is that this was supposed to be a relaxing day of fishing for everyone. But some punks broke into two vehicles (one truck and minivan) in the parking lot. They belongs to two guys fishing to my left. Those basters smashed the windows and stole a laptop, Samsung S6 cell phone and other valuables. That really SUCKS! Police were on scene but there isn't much they can do. People should get off the street, crime and do more fishing!
