10/4/2015 3:22:00 PMI fished eggs near the prison hole and didn't score today either. I few soft bite I decided were trout. Maybe I was wrong.

10/4/2015 5:56:00 PMNot that I've caught any, but I've seen them in the 1 day I've had to fish. They are around the logs in fairly shallow water. Because there hasn't been much rain the river is very clear now. So we've got logs, shallow water and clear water. Sounds like tough fishing unless we use eggs or small jigs or long maribou flies (which are kind of a Dick Nite alternative). I'd say the fish are easily spooked but doing their spawning thing.
I'm really talking to myself as I write this but I hope it helps you. I had to go to CA until 9/30. I think the real silver season is just starting cause we've had so little rain. My best silver season started on 10/4 two years ago.
