Fished the Snohomish river yesterday at Thomas eddy got there a little bit later than I wanted. Found a decent spot for me and my son that wasn't too crowded started with bobber and eggs for me and my son was twitching jigs. His second cast he hooked up with a nice silver but he foul hooked it so released and back to fishing. A couple casts later and he's got another fish this time the fish bit but it's an old beat up humpy that my boy wants to keep after some persuasion he gives in and let's it go. After that we didn't have any action stayed until about 1:30 didn't see too many people with fish the guys fishing next to us foul hooked a huge chum at least 20# the biggest chum I've ever seen and the earliest. Just before we left I got hung up on something and managed to get it to shore it's a huge treble hook with a weight fastened to it with what looks like 100# test tied to it the guy who hooked the chum said he pulled one out too.
