On Saturday the 9th I floated the lower River, sultan to monroe. River very blown out, I thought by now the sediment would have settled, I did want to get a look at how the floods changed it. Sunday I braved the upper float, big eddy to sultan. Bring your rowing skills and some paint. Low water, you will be dragging your boat through rocky areas. If you own a raft, even better. I probably won't hit it again till some more water. With all that said, we did manage to hit some steelhead. They seemed to like the offerings of the 3.0 mag lips, this week was dr. Death and hit two on the blue / chartruce with orange belly ( don't know the name). Up above Wallace River on the sky hit a very nice native played him quick and let be on his way. This nice buck took a liken to pink and purple jig under float. Ended a Splendid day with 3 for 5 in the box, sun, fishing with some good buddy's, the Hawks on the radio and Eagles soaring in the sky.
May the steelhead gods bless you.
