Found out why there are so few reports for the Skagit, nothing biting. Started at the Gardner boat launch, my son had one legit bite and that was it for the day. Headed back to the soccer fields which had been closed at 5am, no bites there and the WDFW fish checker came by and said it has been extremely slow. Heard youngs bar is the only place the few folks I spoke to knew of anything being caught.
The bar by the railroad trestle you will have to wade a little to get out on the bar from the parking lot, didn't have waders and didn't feel like getting wet that's how we ended up at the boat launch.
Good to hear Baker is producing already, hope it keeps up until our trip in August.
