Spent about 2 hours bank fishing Snoqualmie river, nothing. Just felt a few light nibbles, should be them trout. Then, when I read through earlier reports on this website, I realized that this is a winter steelhead river! I flipped through the reports from past two years, all were made in the fall and winter, no reports for the summer at all! So it seems that nobody fishes this river in August. But, really, no salmon run in this river?
