Launched at #4 at about 6:00AM. Trolled straight across through standing snags to the N.F. inlet cove.(as usual) Went slow, at 6' depth, using careys, green on mine, black on my brother-in-laws. Lots of fish (8"-12" for keepers) Lots of wildlife (thats why I go here) Saw otters, bald eagles, ospreys, and the bird I enjoy here a lot, loons. It got windy early so we switched to needlefish with 1/8 oz. weight and did even better than with the flies. We released several nice fish over the size limit and kept the rest to smoke. Please note: I've fished Spada for forty plus years, before all the restrictions were put in place. Spada holds monster trout, most of which are Donaldson trout planted way back when. My largest stands at 7 1/2 pounds. We've seen them over 10 pounds. They are there, go slow, fish the stumps. Enjoy and release!
