Did some bobber fishing this morning above tidewater. Had to deal with a lot of brush since the hole was quite overgrown. There weren't any fish rolling in this stretch of the river, but I've had a lot of success here in the past. The hole changed a little as the fish seemed to be hanging out further down stream. I had to continuously make long drifts down to the fish to get any bites. Paid off as I landed three. Had a strange thing happen this morning after hooking and losing a fish. On the very next cast I had a bobber down in the same spot and broke my leader on the hook set. Next cast had another bobber down about midway through the drift. Landed it and found my other leader in its mouth along with a third hook wound. I guess what they is true, some fish are just biters. Left earlier than I would've liked, but the wind was making it hard to fish.
