Another day on the river. Again, we launched at first light and boated our first keeper before 8am. A 36" hog was in the net by way of a shrimp rig. Shrimp was the ticket today. Next , I hooked and released a 10# wild hen. Then came a 35" buck also on shrimp. That was soon followed by another pig of 35". Totally exhausted from fighting fish we hit the bank for a break, whew! We finished our day when my fishing partner feel asleep and hooked our final keeper, a 34 1/2" hen. Another epic day on the Clearwater River. Another absolutely perfect day.
