Walked the banks of the Satsop hoping for some late coho action. After fishing below hwy 12 for an hour with no luck I decided to head up river looking for some fish. The clearity was good so I threw spinners but kept it close to the shore since the water was so large. About 10 feet off shore and bam fish on! It went on a solid run up stream and after a few acrobatics I was able to land a nice just about 8lb. Buck. Had one other hook up and foul hooked a chum through the dorsal and that was it. Great to take advantage of these flows before the big rains hit!
