Went out fishing the last few days on the upper cowlitz by Packwood. Water was really clear but found some holes to catch a few coho from. Caught a quite a few jacks but finally reeled in this nice hen that I kept. Two casts later caught another one bigger then this but had a rosie blush so I set her free. I have found over the years fishing this section of river black jigs work well. All of my fish the last few days have been caught jigging a 1/4 oz black and red aerojig.
