"The skookumchuck is as dead as my great grandma and there is absolutely not enough steelhead to go out there. Been out on the river floating beads, jigs and throwing spoons/spinners.. Havnt had any action and have been talking with the locals. Everyone and their brother fishes the chuck that lives around there and nothing is being caught. Heard the run came early and many people missed it.. If you're looking for some winter steel before they are all gone, try the Olympic Panisula although it's such a far drive... anyways guys.. best of luck!!
