My unnamed accomplice and myself hit this little lake not far from my house. No one else was on the lake, but I can't say that no one else fishes it.

We scored 5 trout total for an afternoon's fishing. All caught trolling wooly buggers and leach patterns in about 10 feet of water. One of the fish was quite skinny, possibly a spawned out female. One fish was a serious jumper, clearing the water almost immediately after getting hooked. Oh, and the new guy got his first 3 fish caught on flies.

Not a bad early season trip on the west side.
