TinCan could be in your own backyard or hood woods but that's what we called it when we were young with our cane poles and BB guns. It was the place we built our rafts to voyage to the middle island and and claim we were the first! And 30 yrs. down the road I still get that feeling here being lucky I guess that TinCan is still here with the same old muskies and that swampy aroma. That's enough hint's on this place, These Swamps or wetlands are being well maintain to last this long with runoff and other pollutants around. I don't know why, but I'm glad its still thriving. With the big fish or old muskies. These fish were over grown Crappies, Bluegill, Bullhead Cats, Rockbass, and The Big Bass. Till this day some of the boys have gone fishin but my old buddys I take today they all hook up with the big one no less than 5 lbs. and no bigger than 12 thats been lipped and released. I'll always remember the one that snapped new 30 lb. test off a buddy's pole. Or the biggest dead White Crap!
pie four of us seen and estimated about 10 lbs. as wide as a snow shovel. I know its hard to believe. Believe me it's worth mentioning. These swamps, gravel pit ponds, and backwaters have some big fish in there, just make sure your legal and know your swamp.. Please pick up trash anybody.
